In 1985, childhood friends Dave Quirarte and Ron Abarca started the Margarita’s Amigos Southwest Boulevard location. Larry Gromer joined Dave and Ron in the ownership of Margarita’s Amigos team in 1991. 

These 3 amigos made the Margarita’s Amigos restaurants into some of the most popular Mexican restaurant establishments throughout the greater Kansas City area. Ron passed away in 2019. 

Margarita’s Amigos has been thriving for more than 35+ years. With a reputation of serving excellent Mexican food and drinks, as well as a loyal customer base, Margarita’s Amigos establishment now boasts 5 restaurant locations.
